Is 2018 the year for the Air Max 180? With all of the Air Max festivities, Nike appears to think that the silhouette will make a splash on the scene after tragically flopping in 2014.
Already released the ’90s OG Ultramarine colorway (which is still available over on Eastbay.com), Nike will be releasing the Air Max 180 in a black and Venom Green colorway.
However, these colors are nothing new to the Air Max 180. If the shoe looks familiar to you, then you may remember the 2014 Air Max 180 ‘Venom Green’ release. Additionally, I bet if more people knew that Michael Jordan himself wore these almost everywhere he went during the 1992 Olympics the Air Max 180 would sell out faster than you could say “hypebeast.”
According to Nike, the 1991 Air Max 180 allowed wearers to put Nike’s Air cushioning directly to the pavement because the Air unit was bonded to the sole.
As of right now, there is no official word on when the 2018 Nike Air Max 180 ‘Venom Green’ colorway will release, but stay tuned to WearTesters.com for updates.
How do you feel about Air Max 180? Do you think 2018 is the year for this classic silhouette?
