We’ve all pretty much agreed that a lot of brands are now into nostalgic products rather than performance lately, however, there is nothing wrong with a bit of old school in the mix. The Three Stripes brand has done a good job reintroducing nostalgic models with some flair (like when it updated the Stan Smith with a Primeknit upper). That “flair” we’re talking about is the croc leather that will soon be hitting the popular adidas Originals Stan Smith.
The whole upper has been fitted with tumbled croc leather with hints of camo on the heel and the tongue. It’s a nice touch by adidas, particularly when many brands have stopped implementing premium materials while still charging a high price. adidas has stuck to its guns and given the vast majority of us what we’ve continuously wanted in shoes, and that is to get what we paid for.
The adidas Originals Stan Smith Croc/Camo model is slated to release in the spring of 2017, but we don’t have a more precise date yet.
