Today saw the announcement of the second installment for the 2017 Sneaker Exchange. This is the first collaboration of the new year for Sneakersnstuff and Social Status, two of premier sneaker shops in the world.
Here, new school meets old school. The adidas UltraBoost gets an upper makeover by way of a breathable grey-white Primeknit upper with leather hits at the tongues. The toebox also features a taped toewrap while the caging is given a matte suede cage to finish off the luxurious touches.
The Superstar gets updated by applying Boost to the arch and using Primeknit for the entire upper. The Three Stripes, SNS, and Social Status aren’t playing any games — they are definitely starting 2017 with blazing heat.
For those interested, the package is set to release February 8, while the price is still TBD. What do you think of the modernized silhouettes? How do you like the Superstar with the updated materials? Do you plan copping? Let us know what you think down in the comments.
