Jordan Brand Outfits Blake Griffin’s Former AAU Team

We’ve all seen the hilarious endorsement commercials from Kia and Subway. However, watching Blake Griffin “#TakeFlight” in Jordan Brand commercials is on another level. Before all that occurred, Blake had to start from somewhere, and that began with his former AAU team, formerly known as Athletes First — now known as Team Griffin. Team Griffin will now also compete in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, one of the most prestigious AAU circuits in the country that provides pivotal exposure to NCAA scouts and coaches.

Now only is Blake Griffin sponsoring his old AAU team, Jordan Brand has stepped in and will be outfitting the team with the latest gear (home and away jerseys) and specifically with Blake’s current shoe, the Superfly.4 and Superfly.4 PO. It’s nice to see Blake Griffin remember where he all started from and take strides to make sure that the hopeful future basketball stars are taken care of. 1. it’s great that Jordan brand is looking out for the high school / AAU kids, but whats up the the apparel designers at JB! these uniforms are designed terribly! not to to mention the placement of logos and team names are awful. I saw these on TV during NBA all-star weekend when they had the high school USA vs Canada challenge and they were terrible! Get it together JB
