The Nike Zoom LeBron 3 in Black/Gold to Re-Release

The Nike Zoom LeBron 3 is the next in the LeBron signature series to receive the retro treatment.

Going out of order, Nike and LeBron James are eyeing to re-release the Nike Zoom LeBron 3 very soon. This black and gold colorway comes after a ‘Christ the King’ colorway released in September.

I believe the Zoom LeBron 3 had full-length Zoom Air encased within the TPU midsole plates (please correct me if I’m wrong below in the comment section). The 2018 build looks like the original with good old leather and nubuck. The shoe’s overall look and boot-like shape show how the LeBron line slimmed down since 2006.

There is no official release date at the moment but expect the Nike Zoom LeBron 3 Retro to be priced at $175. Stay tuned for updates.

Is there any particular LeBron signature model you’re looking forward to getting re-released in the future? Which one are you crossing your fingers for?

  1. It has heel and forefoot zoom with pebax support shell. Waiting for the white/black with a hint of red to retro

  2. Tech for the original was the same as the Lebron 2; segmented airbags like you’d find in the Jordan 28 up front, and a large volume heel unit. Less prone to popping compared to the Lebron 2 and the 28, but still a risk.

  3. I personally had the Lebron 2’s and 3’s. The tech specs may be similar, but the 2’s for me personally where a better performer. The 3’s where just a little heavy for me, and the heel cup was also very unforgiving.
