Under Armour Embiid 1 Shoes

Under Armour did a very good job with the Embiid 1. Traction and cushion are standout features, while the lockdown wings offer that extra layer of protection to keep you snug and secure on the footbed. Materials could be nicer for a signature shoe, but the performance was there. 

A solid all-around shoe that can be worn by any player and position.

The Sixers had a disappointing 2021 season, there is no denying it, but Joel Embiiid was ballin. The 7-foot center averaged an impressive 29 ppg, 10 rbpg with a block and a steal to boot. Embiid was also named to the all-star team, the all NBA 2nd team and finished second in the MVPP coating for the year. 

The Embiid 1 was a stand out performer for the season, but it didn’t take off as one of the more popular models. The shoe lacked a certain flare aesthetically and colorways were a bit lackluster. There were a couple of stand-out looks but in particular, the Philadelphia Sixers colorways and the Gold Rush colorway were particularly attractive.
