adidas’ latest addition to its customization platform miadidas is the AlphaBounce Beyond, a training shoe that debuted at the beginning of 2018.
miadidas will allow customers to customize the upper, lining, collar, eyestay, tongue and tongue label, laces, midsole, and outsole. Personalization options are also available, but options for the upper are limited to just eight two-tone combinations right now.
The AlphaBounce Beyond was created for athletes who wouldn’t consider themselves runners but use running as a part of enhancing their performance in another sport, according to adidas. The AlphaBounce Beyond features a ForgedMesh upper, a new pattern being created with adidas’ ARAMIS system, and new stretch areas that support both linear and lateral movements during multi directional training.
