While a gold Air VaporMax 97 will debut alongside a retro of the gold Air Max 97 tomorrow, this striking women’s Air VaporMax 97 will jump next week.
Nike is VaporMax-ing all the things in 2018 and the Air Max 97 is the latest sneaker to receive the brand’s latest full-length Air unit. The unit is equipped with durable traction pods and contains more than 75% recycled material, according to Nike.
This women’s exclusive colorway, dubbed ‘Dark Sea’, flaunts Metallic Dusk, Sea White, and Black that give the shoe a metallic and iridescent look. It will release on May 24 for $190, according to US11. While New Orleans-based retailer Sneaker Politics released the shoe yesterday (it, seemingly, sold out), look for it at Nike.com and Eastbay.com come the wider release next week.
Yesterday, Nike shared how its VaporMax Air units are made, step by step, and how sustainable they actually are.
