Asics has just posted their “Holiday Pack” for 2015. However, we reported on these sneakers months ago. Then, they were dubbed the Scratch and Sniff pack.
When the pack first debuted it was said to feature a Gel Lyte III ‘Coffee’, Gel Saga ‘Vanilla’, and Gel Lyte Speed ‘Bubblegum’. The green Gel-Lyte V is ‘Apple’. All four pairs have been sitting at various retailers and on eBay for months now — further proof is that the ‘Bubblegum’ Gel-Lyte Speed is sold out on the Asics Tiger online shop.
So, to round off 2015 Asics re-released their holiday pack from last year and then repurposed a pack from earlier this year as this year’s holiday pack. The question is, why? This kind of maneuvering is usually done by other brands…
For those interested in the pack, pricing is as follows: the Gel-Lyte III ‘Coffee’ is $110, the Gel Saga ‘Vanilla’ is $100, the Gel Lyte Speed ‘Bubblegum’ is $110 (although sold out), and the Gel-Lyte V ‘Apple’ is $120. Three of the four are available here.
With so many hot releases and packs this year, Asics couldn’t do better? Weigh in with your thoughts in the comments below.

I’ll say it again. Asics is so underrated. They make smooth kicks.
True that, so why didn’t they just do a real holiday pack? ?
