Update: Air Jordan Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack

The internet was set ablaze from the news of the Air Jordan Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack, but the early pictures didn’t showcase the right colorway of XX9’s.

Early pictures of the Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack showed a pair of XX9’s in a UNC blue colorway with the Jumpman logo on the heel, but we now can confirm that the elephant print version of the XX9 will be featured in the Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack. Personally, I am in favor of this colorway versus the other. The UNC blue compliments the metallic silver hits on the midsole and elephant print. Also the slightly blue tinted translucent sole is absolutely fresh. If i can get my hands on these, it would make my year.

What do you guys think? Do you wish the Jumpman version of the XX9 was featured in the Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack?  Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Wait a minute! Yesterday we saw the “Big Jumpman” version of the XX9 in this pack. I like the Elephant Print version here, but dammit if I didn’t already get the original Bred Elephant Print XX9.

  2. That elephant print on the toebox is absolutely horrendous. I don’t know why they thought that was a good idea. No colorblocking would ever save that design.

  3. Not a fan of packs. They always seem to be an excuse to make a person buy both shoes when they really only love one. Both shoes are OK. There are MUCH better colorways for both shoes. Good. These will probably be around $500 retail. And they will probably be damn near impossible to buy retail so getting a pair is probably going to run the average person $600-700. So I’ll pass.

I really want the xx9’s in general though. The price is killing me. Hopefully after a little while coupons at footlocker, finishline, champs, etc…. will be allowed. $180 I will do. Around $240 after tax…. no.

  4. Honestly, I dig the XX9s. I do not like the Pantone 11s or actually any of the Pantone collection, excluding the 4s. The rest, they just don’t do it for me. I love those XX9s because I’ve always wanted to play ball in them, and that colorway is mean. Those are killer, and I’m just going to cop that pack in my size 15 and then try to flip the 11s so I can break even for the XX9s, while everyone else is trying to do the same thing with the other pair.
