Under Armour updates its popular HOVR Phantom with the release of the Under Armour HOVR Phantom SE.
The original UA HOVR Phantom blended performance and lifestyle and the Phantom SE looks to continue the trend.
With its full-length HOVR cushioning under-foot, each step is well cushioned in balanced fashion as the EVA carrier ensures you don’t sink into the footbed. Directly under-foot is a seamless SpeedForm 2.0 cushioned liner that feels great but will hinder some people from buying as the lining is not removable.
Mesh is used at the toe, aiding in ventilation while offering a comfortable and fairly forgiving fit. The midfoot panel utilizes a micro-molded mesh with nylon lace loops for structure and support. A rear heel counter is in place that is backed by a nicely padded heel sculpt for comfort.
The Under Armour HOVR Phantom SE fits a bit short, so most people will want to go up 1/2 size unless they happen to prefer a snug fit.
