13 3-pointers!! THIRTEEN THREE-POINTERS!!!
Yeah, Steph hit 13 3’s against New Orleans, setting the single game record for deep balls, and he did it just in time for the Curry 3 ‘Grey Matters’ to hit retail (officially). This colorway, first posted here on WearTesters by yours truly, has been seen on shelves since early October. We gave links last week to an early release, but now, officially, Under Armour gives details on the inspiration for the colorway and the on-shelf date.
With the tag line “Grey Matter. It takes more than talent to become a two-time MVP,” the colorway brings brain matter to the game, telling us all that it takes more than athletic ability to win a game at the NBA level, or any level, for that matter. It’s true — anyone can play, but you have to know how to play to win, and watching Steph the last eight years, it’s obvious he had to learn at an early age.
