Both the Forge 1 Mid and Forge 1 Low are handsome new looks for Under Armour Sportswear (UAS).
Constructed from perforated premium leather, both new sneakers feature a soft knit bootie-style collar. The Forge 1 Low rides atop a grooved white midsole that is, presumably, just EVA (not Charged or Micro G) and an outsole with a traction pattern made up of the UAS triangle logo.
The Forge 1 Mid features a midfoot strap for fit and stability, and unlike the Forge 1 Low, the lacing is exposed on this build. Leather pull tabs help with entry, and plush heel pillows should offer serious comfort. The Forge 1 Mid rides atop a gum outsole — always a great touch. (The UA designers I know can’t stop wearing this sneaker so…)
Notice that this silhouette’s name is numbered right from the jump, so expect more from these sneakers in the coming months. Additionally, the shoes have minimal branding — just a tiny UAS logo at the heel.
The UAS Forge 1 Low and Forge 1 Mid are available now in Navy/Black for $150 and $170, respectively, at UA.com.

Just saw the mid at the Factory House in Dallas earlier today and wondered what the heck it was. The worker had no idea so I tried it on. Midsole felt like the thick cushion on the Brand Black Gamma. Materials up top were good but it continues UAs total disconnect from its own fans. Just give us Micro G. Old. Good. Standard. Micro G.
I heard that they had Nano G in the works but I’m not sure if it ever amounted to anything
The mid looks like the nike kwazi a bit
