Like most brands, Under Armour recognized long ago that athleisure was really a thing — clothing and shoes that had athletic DNA but could be rocked off court, or field, or gym, with ease and good looks.
We saw the first collection almost a year ago — even had a sneak peek of Colleciton 02 back in March, — and the designs and line just keep getting stronger.
Designed by Tim Coppens, UAS Executive Creative Director, the line now features some lighter fare, such as the Club Mid canvas boot, which is made of water resistant canvas and synthetic leathers, and the leather Club Low sneaker, and the Pivot knit shirt. Overall, the line looks equally good for working out or going out.
Collection 02 also features a new build of the RLT Boot. Still featuring the Fat Tire tooling, version two is made of lighter, more breathable uppers for the summer and can be found in green, navy, black, tan, and bone.
Along with the items above, a complete wardrobe assortment is also available, with rugbys, polos, shorts, and pants all coming. One item we find interesting is the Draft Day pocket oxford shirt (pictured last) with super-strong button threading and sleeves with a stretch cuff to prevent sliding up and down.
The collection is available now at underarmour.com. Prices range from $70 to $220.
Let us know what you think below. Which pieces you would rock, thoughts on the shoes (really liking the RLT in bone), and if you don’t rock UAS, what athleisure items and companies you do wear?
