Early last month, we reported on a LeBron Soldier 12 that was very reminiscent of the original LeBron Soldier 1. Now, official images of this tribute to the first Soldier model are here — as is a release date.
Sporting a white BattleKnit upper with navy blue straps and overlays, FastPass’ LeBron Soldier 12 deconstruction shows that the shoe features a 10mm thick Zoom unit in the forefoot and a 13mm thick Zoom unit in the heel. It is a slight improvement over the Soldier 11 which featured an 8mm thick forefoot unit and a 14mm thick heel unit. While the LeBron Soldier 12 pictured here sports speckling not used on the original Soldier 1, it retains the original’s LJ23 branding.
The Nike LeBron Solider 12 ‘White/Midnight Navy/Mineral Yellow’ will be releasing on May 31 at Eastbay for $140. It will be releasing on the same day as the 2018 LeBron Soldier 1 retro of the same colorway (from the Art of a Champion pack).

My favorite colorway yet. Might be a cop…
