Compfit, Micro G, reflective synthetic upper – a shoe that fits like a high and plays like a low. Yeah, the Under Armour Fire Shot looks and sounds beastly.
Traction looks like it could be the shoes only error, but we won’t know for certain until we get a chance to test them out on-court. The shoes are available now in two colorways at ChampsSports.com for those interested.
For $120, these sound as if they’ll be a solid bang for your buck option. Check out the official product shots below and share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
Where is the nanoG?
Definitely intrigued by these — they look like they would just fit and play really smooth…

Thanks for the coupon code. I always appreciate the heads up to save some money. Respect.
Man, they actually have a nice silhouette. That traction does look pretty iffy to say the least. I’ll have to check them out in person.
Actually, if the rubber-compound is good, you’ll have some of the most open, rugged traction available(the wide cut-outs make it almost impossible for dust to build up), the rubber needs to be rubbery though(not silicon-y).
Did you see the lows that mudiay wore for the all star game?? Those were flames, i hope they release those, they look pretty promising… i agree traction looks a little suspect, reminds me of the kd 6, but hopefully those little spots of herringbone help out
Was hoping these would retail for 95-100 as a replacement for the torch and another cheap but solid option. Pricing them at 120-130 is “Steph Curry Level”
Yeah, I don’t really call that bang for your buck at all. Relative to the Currys and Clutchfit Drives (price wise), they’re not really bang for your buck.
Reminds me of Jordan Team. Eh?
Tried these on this afternoon. TTS or maybe, FOR A VERY CLOSE FIT, .5 down. Sole is very soft, almost felt like eraser rubber. Upper is a little stiff though.
The traction looks similar to what I have on an Asics Basketball shoe. Not the same pattern, just a similar style.
was this shoe suppose to have nano G?
I thought the same thing… apparently not
I had a pair of the UA shoes that had the same CompFit like structure around the ankle 3 years ago. I had problems with the compfit tearing where it was sewed on because it was so stretchy. Wonder if these will do the same?
I grabbed a pair, wore on slippery floor and I had difficulty. No surprise though floor is terrible. Seems like materials need to be broken in a bit. Look good in person.
Micro G? Doesn’t seem to say on the shoe and it doesn’t mention it in description online
There also seems to be 2 different pictured midsoles for the white pair.
