Last year, we saw the release of the Air Max Zero on Air Max Day. Since then, we haven’t gotten much action from the silhouette other than a few images that may have surfaced occasionally. Nike brings us yet again another Nike Air Max Zero, and it’s releasing in the very near future.
The Nike Air Max Zero was Tinker Hatfield’s original sketch of the model we now know, the Air Max 1. Tinker’s original sketches featured the silhouette we see below, and this particular colorway is also of the original sketch. A yellow mesh bootie upper with white overlay panels combine with a white midsole and a Max Air unit in the heel for a sleek and comfortable wear. Other details appear within the shoe, such as the Max Air unit in the heel, which appears to glow in the dark (not sure if it actually does or not, Nike has not confirmed that it glows or lights up, but that would be cool I think.) This is a nice comparison compared to the last colorway we saw, which featured a navy blue and white combination along the upper.
Hopefully this upcoming release of the Nike Air Max Zero is something to show what Nike has in store for us in the future. Other colorways would be a great feature, especially some tonal colorways. Look for the Nike Air Max Zero to drop exclusively on the SNKRS app on January 21. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below on whether you like the Air Max Zero or not, and even if you plan on trying to grab a pair of these when they drop.
Sick.
To me they look a lot like the air max tavas
