Sloane Stephens’ Air Jordan 8 X NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero has an official release date. Sort of.
While playing at Flushing Meadows, tennis player Sloane Stephens will rock a NikeCourt Zoom Zero fitted with an Air Jordan 8 ‘Aqua’ build.
The original Air Jordan 8 released the same year Stephens was born — 1993. This version of the shoe features a midsole and outsole that were taken from the Zoom Zero, which features a full-length Zoom Air unit articulated for step-to-step transitions specific to tennis.
The NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero Aqua releases on Nike.com during Stephens’ play at Flushing Meadows.
