NikeCourt Modifies the Air Jordan 8 for Tennis

The Air Jordan 8 receives an unexpected modification which allows them to hit the court — the tennis court.

NikeCourt, Nike’s Tennis devision, has modified the recently released Women’s Air Jordan 8 Retro ‘Aqua’ to feature the NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero tooling.

The upper and build look to have not changed at all, but the addition of the NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero tooling makes this AJ8 more court-ready than ever before. Removing the PU midsole and replacing it with one that features Phylon and a full-length Zoom Air unit. Now, if we could only get these types of modifications without changing the look of these popular Retro models then Nike and Jordan Brand would be onto something.

There was no word if this Air Jordan 8 X NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero would see a release, but the Nike Inc. press release states that the NikeCourt fall 2019 collection releases August 19 on Nike.com.
