The Nike Air 3 LE – originally known as the Air Garnett 3 – makes its second retro return since 2009.
These didn’t sell too well back in ’09; I grabbed my pair from Ross for $40. However, if you like 90’s kicks to hoop in then these are the ones to grab. The forefoot Zoom Air is super comfortable, at least it was in the ’09 version, as was the heel’s Air Max unit, despite no longer being Tuned Air. Traction was pretty solid as well and these could handle outdoor terrain.
These haven’t hit any U.S. retailers online, but they’ve been popping up randomly at certain stores. They have become available overseas though, so expect a wider release in the near future. 
I actually had the originals and really enjoyed playing in them. They were very comfy despite their looks.
Is the air max unit in the back an actual air max bag or an air unit like the air max pre 2000 era air units?
