Stephen Curry and Under Armour pay tribute to The Town with the upcoming UA Curry 6 Thank You, Oakland.
This is my favorite colorway of the Curry 6, and I’ve been awaiting it’s release since the official unveil event held in Oakland, CA in late 2018.
Sporting the colors of The Town, this tribute pair of sneakers sports black and yellow while boldly, and proudly, displaying “Oakland” along the midsole.

I’ve seen many signature sneakers over the years, and I’ve always loved it when the model is up front and in your face with its tribute to the city that helped make the player who they are today. Being that this pair actually represents the Bay Area makes it a little more special on a personal level.
The Under Armour Curry 6 ‘Thank You, Oakland’ will release on May 31, 2019 on UA.com, at UA Brand Houses, and at select retail partners such as Dicks Sporting Goods for $130.
Limited pairs of the new colorway are available now, exclusively at the SC30 x Oakland pop up shop located at 472 9th Street in downtown Oakland. The pop-up is open 12-7 PM PT Friday through Sunday and during all Warriors’ game days during the NBA Finals, from 12 PM PT until the end of the game.
