The Swedish collaboration powerhouse that is Sneakersnstuff has teamed up with PUMA yet again to extend their Adventurer series.
The Sneakersnstuff x PUMA Swedish Camo Pack draws inspiration from Sneaker Freaker’s PUMA collab in 2008 that spawned the PUMA Blaze of Glory. The SNS guys apparently love the silhouette and it sparked their creativity for this pack. Here’s the information from SNS:
When our friends at Sneaker Freaker were asked to do a PUMA collaboration in the late ’00, they wanted to re-new something classic. The result was the PUMA Blaze of Glory. Based on the PUMA Disc Blaze, with the famous PUMA Disc system replacing the standard lace-system. With just a few minor tweaks, and the removal of the disc system – the PUMA Blaze of Glory was born and released in 2008. Since then, it has been one of PUMA’s best performing lifestyle silhouettes, and we love it.
To continue the path that Woody and his crew once started exploring, we wanted to work on one of the newer silhouettes from PUMA. Being sneaker nerds since the 80’s means that we get super excited over new technologies. So to be able to work on the company’s number one performance shoe Ignite is of course very exciting for us.
The PUMA x Sneakersnstuff ”Swedish Camo Pack” takes the design theme from the Swedish military camouflage M90. M90 was introduced 1990 (shocker…) and is still in use today.
The PUMA x Sneakersnstuff Blaze of Glory comes with an all-over M90 upper in heavy nylon with details in nubuck and premium leather.
The PUMA x Sneakersnstuff ”Swedish Camo Pack” will be released at all Sneakersnstuff locations February 6th.
Release schedule:
Stockholm – 12.00
Malmö – 12.00
London – 10.30
Paris – 11.00
Online – 15.00
Thus, the Sneakersnstuff x PUMA Blaze of Glory will debut with an all-over M90 upper in heavy nylon with accenting and details done with premium leather and nubuck — the build should make this Blaze of Glory pretty durable. However, the Sneakersnstuff x PUMA Ignite will stay true to the silhouette’s original intention, performance, with a mesh upper, heat cut overlays, and a subtle camo hook on only the tongue and medial formstripe.
Both pieces of the Sneakersnstuff x PUMA Swedish Camo Pack will run from US sizes 4.5-14 and both will retail for $130 USD.
