The Air Jordan XX9 you’ll probably want, but never get.
Russell continues to tear up his opponents with triple-doubles that would even make Ice Cube jealous, and Jordan Brand hooks him up with this new Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan XX9. This colorway takes on a gradient white and orange upper, and features the number ‘0’, and not the ’23’ we are used to on the tongue. Overall this is a great colorway, and i think it would be very popular if it were to ever hit shelves, but they will most likely not hit retail, and remain a Player Exclusive.

I think the Jordan XX9 is one of the most boring looking shoes out there.
There is almost no CW that really looks great. They just slap the biggest Jordan logo on the side of the shoe and call it a day.
Yea I feel you on that they look like old and 1 shoes or old nike zooms from famous footwear I was poor as a youngin and had to rock those but every company has that same generic mid cut but I think that was the point cuz they where supposed to be strictly for balling everything you need and nothing you don’t pure performance they did not take aesthetic into account because they could put any design on that woven upper
Sorry to disagree but the photo reel, bhm, og elephant print, yotg and wolf grey look spectacular.
If you could afford them I think you would play a different tune
Must strongly disagree as well. I own the goats and the triple black and not only do they look clean, current and modern, they are perhaps, the single best shoe I’ve ever played in.
Oh, and those PEs are dope…
I’m a huge fan of the Jordan XX9 and of the Oklahoma City Thunder. I have most of Russell’s releases as well as some PEs, when he wore the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. I’m really disappointed that Jordan brand hasn’t released any 29s of Russell’s, and they probably will keep it that way, since he has his signature dropping this summer. They did such a good job with the hyperfuses and XX8s and I was expecting the same with the XX9s. It burns lol and even more so because the XX9s are definitely a go to Hoop shoe for me and his PEs and colorways are fire in the XX9s, not to mention that they switched the gift of flight pack! The originals set to release were FIRE! I’m done venting, Jordan Brand you have let me down with the XX9s, so much potential as far as colorways go and I haven’t seen much yet. But they slaughter kicks like futures and Jordan Shines with a million colorways and lack releases in their latest innovation as far as performance goes in the 29. #ReleasetheRussells
