Reebok has long been involved in high fashion, often dropping new silhouettes and designs at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks. Tomorrow we – well, the women of “we” – get a chance at the new: introducing the Reebok Metreon.
Combining the classic Vector logo on the side panel with the super-comfortable and lightweight Floatride (it’s actually a double layer of the responsive foam), the shoe was shot entirely in London on Charli Cohen, a designer whose vision of style and movement flows perfectly with Reebok’s meshing of classic and bold lines and performance technology and materials.
“I’m all about the challenge of combining style with true functionality and the Reebok Metreon absolutely achieves that,” said Cohen. “I know what it’s like to be a woman involved in a culture of competition, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with Reebok on a shoe that considers what the daily grind actually looks like for these women. We don’t want to compromise.”
Key product features include:
- Distinct, recognizable silhouette with a double layer of FloatRide Energy foam in the midsole to provide long lasting comfort
- The FloatRide Energy midsole gives support to the underfoot that will ensure comfort through long, active days
- On-trend upper design with large vector branding and dense yet lightweight structure with excellent durability
- Metreon is available exclusively in Women’s sizing.
The Metreon is available today, November 1, globally for a retail price of $120 USD. Again, it’s only women’s sizing, so if you are a guy and like it, order accordingly. I won’t lie, if they were men’s sizes I would be in them based on the Floatride alone.
