Reebok has a new pack out for the Earth-conscious sneaker enthusiast that loves veg tan leather — and “environmentally preferred materials.”
Three classic Reebok silhouettes — the Exofit Lo, Workout Plus, and Classic Leather — don “environmentally preferred materials” in neutral colorways highlighted by unique laces and veg tan leather. All three sit atop white EVA outsoles.
While Reebok does not details what exactly these “environmentally preferred materials” are, the Adidas Group (Reebok’s parent company) stated in its 2015 Sustainability Progress Report that all adidas footwear products included environmentally preferred materials (EPM) like recycled polyester, recycled rubber or bio-based thermoplastic polyurethane.
Moreover, the brand has increased the use of EPMs like recycled polyester, recycled nylon or sustainable cotton (Better Cotton — it requires less water and fewer pesticides, promotes better working conditions for the farmer in Brazil, and preserves the quality of the fiber).
The latest Reebok ‘Eco Pack’ is available overseas at Hanon. Each silhouette is priced at around $100. There is no official word on when or if this pack will come Stateside.

I dig it. Its cool to see companies do this. Adidas has another Parley shoe coming out in like 5 days i believe. It is part of their outdoor terrex line and has a similar upper to the uncaged ultra boost but has a “boat” outsole. I’m surprised i haven’t seen anything about it on the news outlets I frequent.
Haven’t heard about that on my end either, please shoot me a link.
