Reebok Classic is combining a retro silhouette with modern technology for today’s day and age. It’s called the Reebok 3D OP.98.
Twenty years after the release of the original in 1998, Reebok sought to create a sneaker that is a fresh take on the groundbreaking 3D Opus. The end result was the 3D OP.98.
Created by the Reebok Advanced Concepts division, the original 3D Opus was made to be a rejection of the ordinary and the 3D OP.98 is no different. This newest drop features premium material layering that “supports and accentuates the style’s controlled complexity” and contains hand-sewn outer seams.
That premium material is combined with conventional rubber and foam that sits on the iconic Reebok split-tooled soles and as a result, the 3D OP.98 provides comfort along with contemporary.
The Reebok 3D OP.98 is set to release in two colorways on August 17 and will be available for purchase on reebok.com. The brand has not announced pricing information.
UPDATE 8/14/18: The Reebok 3D OP.98 will retail for $150 according to Reebok.
