On Monday night Reebok gathered some of the best personalities in fitness and entertainment to launch its latest running shoe: the Fast Flexweave.
To begin the evening, Reebok partners Devonta Freeman, Running Back for the Atlanta Falcons, speed specialist Luis Badillo Jr., and Reebok Global Trainer Harley Pasternak led a group of fitness media through a rigorous workout to briefly test the Fast Flexweave. According to Reebok, the workouts were custom designed to prioritize agility and short bursts of speed as well as quick power movements and intensive stability training.
The Reebok Fast Flexweave flaunts the brand’s latest technology, Flexweave, which uses a figure-8 construction to create unique zones of flexibility, breathability, and stability. This creates a shoe that is tailored for the kinds of workouts Badillo Jr. and Freeman put media through.
After the workout the party began, and Reebok partners Rae Sremmurd took to the stage to perform hits like “No Flex Zone,” “Black Beetles,” “Perplexing Pegasus,” and Swae Lee’s newest release, “Power Glide.” The duo performed in the Fusion Flexweave, the next Flexweave sneaker in the line, which will debut on April 1 (more details on that coming soon).
The Reebok Fast Flexweave is available now at Reebok.com for $100 in several introductory men’s and women’s colorways.
Additionally, Reebok unveiled several different applications of Flexweave with its “Woven Into the Future” collaborations in January.
