Reebok Blast “Reptile”

Reebok finally decided to bring back the Blast, a classic hoop shoe from the 90s, in OG colorways. But they’re not stopping at that! An epic new colorway was spotted online today and it has been dubbed the Reebok Blast “Reptile.” The shoe is covered in all kinds of different prints, textures, and materials, ranging from a synthetic leather with large “scales” on it to a synthetic, almost patent leather looking material with tons of tiny scales. The red mesh that peeks out beneath the dark, shiny, synthetic, small-scaled upper really captures and enhances the “blast” feel from this shoe! The midsole sees two different reds; is almost a salmon, while the other is a vibrant, cherry red. The salmon colored midsole gets speckled with the cherry red, easing the transition between the reds and again giving off that “blast” effect. A reptilian green color hits the laces, tongue ring, and tongue, while gold graces the tongue and heel branding. The same green found on the tongue actually peeks out just slightly in the middle of the toebox. Whatever Reebok is feeding their designers, it’s working! This loud design and other unique, daring, new Reebok Kamikaze colorways will be good tests for the brand. No release date on these yet but we’ll keep you in the know.
