The Thunder Spectra has been Puma’s hit “dad shoe” for 2018. With pairs from the first release now reselling for nearly double their retail price, we’ve got a look at what’s next for the silhouette.
Spotted in this latest burgundy/black colorway, the Puma Thunder Spectra has left the multicolor vibes of its first builds behind for something much more somber and intriguing. The upper — which is constructed of mesh, leather, and suede — gets a sensuous burgundy look while smooth black leather takes care of the rest of the shoe.
Interestingly, the shoe’s IMEVA midsole gets an iridescent black/burgundy mix at certain pieces while sparse white accents offer some pop. Pull tabs at both the tongue and heel should help wearer’s with easier on and off.
The Puma Thunder Spectra ‘Burgundy’ will release sometime in August, according to Sneaker News. We’ll update you when we have a more precise release date.
