You didn’t think Olympic stuff was ending anytime soon did you? Italian brand Diadora chose seven boutiques all over the world to collaborate with and New Jersey’s Packer Shoes was, of course, one of the seven. (Packer Shoes, along with Sweden’s Sneakersnstuff, may be the most prolific — in terms of hits — collaborators of all time when it comes to sneakers).
For the Packer Shoes entry to the ‘From Seoul to Rio’ campaign, the shop chose the multicolored Olympic rings as inspiration for a limited sneaker and an entire apparel collection. The Packer x Diadora Intrepid ‘From Seoul to Rio’ is made in Italy and utilizes the centermost ring color (black) as the premium leather and suede base for the shoe. Each leather side panel brand flaunts a different ring color and the traditional tongue patches are split between two different Olympic colors. The leather heels feature debossed Packer branding and the shoes sit atop gum bottoms. Unique details include a collage of flags splattered across the insoles, multicolored laces, and gold lace tips.
The Packer x Diadora Intrepid ‘From Seoul to Rio’ is limited to 500 pairs worldwide and retails for $180. It is available exclusively at Packer Shoes.
The apparel collection also utilizes the collage of flags and includes a jersey ($80), nylon track jacket ($150), Cordura duffle bag ($130), and two unstructured caps ($30 each) — the white Packer ‘P Rings’ and the black Packer ‘Olympic’. The jersey, jacket, and bag are made in Italy.
Th entire Packer x Diadora ‘From Seoul to Rio’ collection drops at 12 noon ET on August 20 at Packer Shoes, both in-store and online. Thoughts? Share them below.

I like the theme and the materials look buttery smooth. Nice collaboration by Packers. Diadora are always nice.
That last shot of them looks really cool.
