New Jersey-based Packer Shoes (which now goes simply by Packer) has linked with Reebok for a premium take on the Club C that’s perfect for summertime.
The Reebok Club C began as the Revenge Plus in 1985 and it was a shoe built for tennis courts and country clubs. Since, the shoe has touched nearly every subculture — fashion nerds, punks, jocks, skaters, etc. — and made its way into mass culture (just like everything that is at one point subculture).
The Packer x Reebok Club C ‘Marcial’ embraces its summertime release with a cream tumbled leather upper and leather guts. Colorful accents at the heels and tongue logos add pop while the vintage Reebok logos keep the heritage alive. According to Packer, this luxurious and subtle build allows fans that appreciate the silhouette to dress it up a bit more than usual.
The Packer x Reebok Club C ‘Marcial’ releases for $110 at 12 noon EST on August 10. It will be available in-store and online at packershoes.com.
