Two brand-new looks at the upcoming ANTA KT 5 are our best look yet at Klay Thompson’s upcoming signature shoe.
As more leaks emerge, we get a better and clearer look at the ANTA KT 5.
Sporting a knit build with a lace cover that will act as an additional lockdown strap look interesting, and will likely be very functional on-court. We’ve seen Li-Ning do something similar and this should be no different.
We get a good look at the traction thanks to @zazapachulia sharing a PE version made exclusively for him. It shows us that ANTA is choosing to stick with the same traction pattern found on the ANTA KT3 and KT4. A move that I love as the traction has been very good since being featured on the KT3. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Cushion will likely be A-FlashFoam and it looks like some versions will look a lot like Under Armour’s HOVR cushion while other versions will look like a standard painted midsole. Copying the look of UA’s HOVR is a mistake in my eyes, but performance wise ANTA’s A-FlashFoam is a great cushion source.
