The Air Jordan 6 ‘Infrared’ is coming back in OG form — complete with Nike Air branding — in February 2019.
The Infrared Air Jordan 6 last released back in 2014 and in 2019, we’ll see the shoe release again but this time, Jordan Brand tried to bring the shoe back true to original form.
As someone with two pairs of the last version, this 2019 version doesn’t look that much different. Obviously, there is the Nike Air branding at the heel, something most wish was on every iteration, and maybe the shade of Infrared — which happens to be slightly different with each release. Materials, shape and overall build look very much the same.
If you happen to have missed out on the 2014 release or you just wanted the Nike Air branding on the heel, the 2019 version of the Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared is scheduled to release on February 16 for $200.

Why does brands say they “try” to bring back to the OG form wherein they are also the ones who made it right? It just doesn’t makes sense to me. They should already have the blueprint of the shoe and just follow it again.
Companies don’t keep the original molds, so that’s why they say they “try” to get close to OG form.
