With the ongoing hype of the UltraBoost, adidas is set to release two new colorways inspired by the medals given to first and second place winners at the Olympics.
One features an all black tonal Primeknit upper with a gold heel cup while the other features a black and grey Primeknit upper with a silver heel cup. Both colorways feature traditional white Boost midsoles and Continental rubber outsoles. The gold also features some leather on the tongue and cage.
The “Gold Medal” and “Silver Medal” colorways are set to release on August 17 for $180 each. What do you think of these colorways? Will you cop a pair? Let us know in the comments section below.
I have seen a bronze medal pair as well but those dont look as good as these two.
Going for gold
they should’ve all whited the upper for silver
I love the UB, but these are really weak. They just reused colorways and changed the heel cup as a gimmick. They could of done something special for the Olympics, but they clearly chose not to.
