Transparent sneaker brand Oliver Cabell has partnered with Swedish watchmaker TRIWA for a stunning and very limited pack.
A blend of Scandinavian design and and American luxury, this collaboration is perfect beyond product. Both brands have rocked their respective industries due to their values; Oliver Cabell pledged, and has upheld, full supply chain transparency while TRIWA (Transforming the Industry of Watches) has partnered with responsible and sustainable companies like Humanium Metal to create watches made of destructed illegal firearms.
Together, Oliver Cabell and TRIWA have created a modern sneaker and watch pack that exudes modern refined design. For this latest project, the Oliver Cabell Low 1 rides atop an Italian gum outsole. A white full-grain Nappa leather upper is accentuated with smooth Italian suede at the tongue and heel for a great summer look.
That Italian suede is also used for the strap on the TRIWA collaborative watch. The 42mm TRIWA Nevil case — designed in Stockholm — gets minimal blue dials with gold hands and is water resistant to 10 atmospheres (100 meters).
The TRIWA x Oliver Cabell Low 1 sneakers will be limited to just 50 pairs for $198 USD each while the TRIWA Nevil x Oliver Cabell watch will retail for $299 USD at triwa.com. Both pieces release on August 21.
Oliver Cabell’s last two collaborations had a wait list of 500+ and sold out in less than two minutes after launch so if you’re feeling these get them before they’re gone forever (it’s wedding season after all).
I must admit that I have two main passions: sneakers and watches. This partnership is a beautiful mix of both and I am so happy that it exists. What do you think of this latest Oliver Cabell collab? Let us know in the comments.
