As part of the Nike “POMP” pack celebrating the Latino Heritage Movement, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High is getting a stunning rework by Brazilian artist Thales Fernando.
This iconic basketball sneaker has been rebuilt with a graphic tongue that includes vibrant cartoonish graphics. The heel features the ‘POMP’ stitching and the rest of the upper appears debossed with metallic lines that form a dynamic pattern. This release will also include custom insoles that uses the same graphic patterns on the tongue, giving the shoe an animated and colorful vibe.
The shoe is rumored to retail for $160 but a release date has yet to be confirmed. However, LHM releases are dropping throughout September; the Air Max 1 arrives September 15, the Classic Cortez LHM on September 22, and the Air Force 1 Low LHM on October 1.
