Nike’s Kyrie Irving Budget Model Leaks Yet Again, This Time in Black/Gum

kyrie budget model black gum

Kyrie Irving’s upcoming takedown model has leaked in a classic Black/Gum colorway.

The sneaker — which Kyrie has been spotted in several times since All-Star Weekend — is dressed this time in a black and charcoal upper with Kyrie’s logo placed on the tongue in gold. The wraparound portion of the outsole is featured in a gum rubber that flips back to black and charcoal underfoot. The heel is especially noticeable on this build, featuring leather over the heel counter featuring Kyrie’s Celtics #11.

After numerous leaks and a debut on the floor by Kyrie himself, one might find the sneaker promising for one expected to retail at $80. However, we’ll hold our breath until our weartesters are able to get their hands on a pair and put them to the test. There is still no official word yet on a release date.

Does this colorway do the trick for you? Drop a comment and let us know your thoughts below.

  1. I think this is the Zoom Assersion 2, but they just renamed it the Kyrie budget to sell more. These look very similar to that shoe. Expect a little hex zoom unit in the forefoot that you can’t really feel. This one should have better traction if its like the Kyrie 4 traction.
