I recently received my custom NikeiD Elite Socks. I ordered and received them within six days, surprisingly fast for a custom product. The socks are printed using Nike’s Digital Ink process, which you can read more about HERE.
This is my first experience with digital ink, so that was one reason I got excited. The other reason is that Nike finally allowed us to customize a pair of socks! The customization options are limited to three patters (KD, Kobe, and fade) in various colors, and there is only room for 7 total characters (split between 5 and 2) for a name/ number. Those with long names might have problems with the limited space. I think it’s awesome that Nike finally came out with custom socks and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them.
I picked up the fade option, which is the most plain of the three. I would like to just have solid 1-color socks available, but I don’t run the ship, so I went with the fade. Hear the rest of my thoughts in the review below. If you want to customize your own pair of Nike Elite Socks, click HERE.
