Nike has unveiled the uniforms that will be worn by Chinese athletes during the Summer Olympics in London.

One such uniform which will be featured on the players include Nike’s lightest-ever Hyper Elite basketball uniform for both the men’s and women’s Basketball teams.

Nike-Unveils-Uniforms-for-Chinese-Athletes-3 — Nike’s designs for the Chinese Federation uniforms draw inspiration from China’s rich and vibrant culture, combining Chinese calligraphy with modern architectural design elements. They use simple, powerful and vibrant lines to illustrate Chinese athletes’ strength and confidence.

Nike-Unveils-Uniforms-for-Chinese-Athletes-4 — The striking design of the uniforms evokes a strong sense of national pride. Inspired by the lyrics of China’s national anthem, the mantra “Arise, March On” is printed into the neckline of the basketball jersey.

Nike-Unveils-Uniforms-for-Chinese-Athletes-6 — Chinese national basketball player Yi Jianlian commented: “The new uniform and shoes are lighter and more breathable. The design, with its Chinese elements, makes us feel proud and confident on the court. I also really appreciate the commitment to the environment and the fact that the uniforms are made with recycled plastic bottles.”

this is so sick. i personally feel like nike does an awesome job with basketball uniforms. just imagine what the nba jerseys would look like if nike took over in that department.

dayum those are sexy. Why can’t Korea be good enough to get sponsored by Nike? Perhaps one day I will change the deal haha jk

  someone correct me if i’m wrong, but i believe i saw korea wearing nike uniforms at the 2010 Asian games in Guangzhou, China.
