The Nike Lunar TR1 has already seen a black Oregon Ducks-inspired colorway in the ‘Week Zero’ Collection, but this all-white edition is so much cleaner, in my opinion.
If you know anything about Nike, you know their history and heritage runs deep with the University of Oregon. That’s where it all began for the athletic footwear powerhouse, and they always honor the school throughout the year with releases like this one. The white-based sneaker only uses color on the Flywire cables seen in green and yellow. The rest of the sneaker has black accents on the swoosh and midsole, utilizing Lunarlon tech. The most unique part of the shoe is the silver detailing that runs from the midfoot to the heel, showcasing the wings graphic seen on the football team’s jersey, an image that’s also become synonymous with the university’s football program. Finally an “O” is pictures on the front side of the tongue with the slogan the program has always stuck with “Win the Day” on the inside.
These will be available on Nike.com on October 29 for a retail price of $120. Let us know in the comments if this is a pair you’ll be picking up.
