Each fall, Nike has released ‘ruggedized’ versions of the iconic Air Force 1 that are equipped to handle the snow and cold of winter. Last year, this concept of a sneakerboot was adopted by many other Nike silhouettes, such as the Air Max 90, Roshe Run, and even the Free Run 2. Now, Nike will be taking the Air Force 1 boot silhouette and updating it with Lunarlon cushioning.
Featuring tougher and thicker materials, metal lace loops, and a rugged duckboot-inspired traction pattern, the Nike Lunar Force 1 Sneakerboot is ready for the worst Mother Nature can dish out. This particular pair dons a black upper that features thick mesh, waterproofed leather, and elephant print details. The Lunar midsole is white, with a gum outsole completing the look.
This pair will release at Oneness on September 13 for $155. Stick with WearTesters for any new colorways or release information. Let us know below what you think of these boots.
