Nightwing, I know you have not officially said so but, would you say the Kobe 8 is your go to shoe. Last year you said you brought your KD V’s with you on each wear just in case as that was your go to. This year, it seams as if the Kobe has been the one. There are other shoes that may be better in certain areas or better for specific players or needs but, would you say the Kobe is still one of the best performers out there overall.
For me at least, I’ve whole hardily recommended the Kobe’s and have 3 friends who ended up purchasing a second pair after i pushed them to buy 1.
The Kobe 8 is just a beast of a shoe. Full of tech and arguably the lightest on the market. The $140 price is the sweet spot. This will make my fourth pair if I get my hands on them.
I’m starting to think that the Kobe 9 won’t surpass this generation. Actually I felt like the KD V was so good that the KD VI wouldn’t surpass it before it dropped and I believe that I was right.
There is always a balance between performance and price. That $140 sweet spot is incredibly correct. I’ve heard rumors of the Kobe 9 being anywhere from $175-$190-$225. It may be the flyknit gives it unheard of lightness and it possibly could be the absolute best performing shoe but when you consider the price, its going to be tough to beat the Kobe 8.
I also have 5 pairs and it might be 6 soon actually. Its a damn good shoe that completely breaks my rule of never buying more than 2 pairs of the same shoe, regardless of color way.
Now this is what i’m talking about: my 6th kobe 8 lol
All that performance and style wrapped up in a low top $140 package; I think it is one of the best performance shoes in the world, period.
they are lol november release
just outta curiosity NW, how many pairs of KB 8s are you up to right now? haha..
Hell yea I’m copping these
I hope thy release soon
