The Nike Mentality was a surprise hit earlier this year so it’s no surprise that there is a second version; dubbed the Nike KB Mentality 2.
These look to feature some sort of woven or knitted upper with Fuse TPU overlays. The traction hasn’t been altered at all since the original so you’ll receive the same solid traction that those had. Cushion is also the same, in the form of a drop-in Lunarlon midsole. Performance overall should be identical to the original with the only real change being that the upper won’t feel quite as cheap as before.
For a budget on-court option, these are going to be a solid option. No official US release has been set just yet, but they’re already making themselves available overseas.

No, but they’re very close, that’s why the Kobe 11 is an underwhelming shoe, especially for a sig, they look too much like the takedown model(like these).

I hope these do get an actual heel counter and a tpu shank. The KB Mentality 1 has an extremely low fuse heel cup that barely gives any support and it has no torsional support whatsoever. I have worn them and imo the KBM1 does not classify as a basketball shoe(not a safe one at least). It has solid traction and cushion though, glad they kept that the same.
What is the Kobe mentality anyway, shoot until the coach puts you on the bench, or keep playing while the coach benches others because they complain about an over the hill player shooting too much?! This Kobe prick is too overrated to have a sig shoe, let alone a “take down”. He should be wearing someone else’s take down.
