Nike will be releasing – for the first time – a Kyrie Irving PE to the public this season and this particular pair has nothing to do with Cleveland.
Kyrie was born in Melbourne, Australia prior to coming over to the States and that is the main inspiration for this colorway placed on the Nike Hyperdunk 2013. You’ll spot some geographical graphics inside the shoe while the outer make use of great color combinations and materials.

These look sick but it doesn’t match the Cavaliers haha! if they were to hit stores, it’s a definite cop!
its not supposed to be a Cav’s CW , clearly says that the CW pays tribute to Kyrie being born in Australia.
It’s got nothing to do with the Cavs, it’s a shoe with inspiration from him being born in Melbourne, AUS, which would explain the graphic of Australia and USA and the dotted line going from Melbourne to New Jersey.
Kyrie Irving****** It’s a sick PE nevertheless though. not sure if he’ll be wearing it with the cavs uni though, looks kinda funny.
Do you have any inside info on Air Jordan 29, which should be Tinker’s 20th Air Jordan?
These look good. Are translucent outsoles harder or softer rubber than the regular versions? Are these better for indoor or outdoor?
@nightwing2303 Do you have any idea if these are going to release? Cuz this looks sick man id get this ASAP. Thanks for the heads up man!
They will but not sure when
I saw these at House of Hoops yesterday and they are tempting. I just won’t do icy soles if I don’t have to. They are still dope at $140 USD.
oh no….clear soles…..
Is that good or bad? What advantage do the translucent outsoles have? Are they usually softer or harder than the regular outsoles?
Performance-wise, translucent outsoles tend to be dirt magnets. This can undermine the shoe’s traction and cause slippage. This isn’t a guarantee, but it is a concern.
Also, people worry about them yellowing over time.
I actually prefer them because they tend to last longer compared to solid outsoles. Correct me if im wrong but i believe solid outsoles become smooth overtime and clearsoles do not.
why wouldn’t traction patterns on clear soles get ground down, too?
it’s true that it isn’t a sure bet that clear soles will trap dust and require you to wipe them constantly- the air penny v is an excellent example, even the black and grey colorway with an all clear outsole is PERFECT on every surface- but it happens often enough to cause significant concern.
also, the yellowing is a pain in the behind of course….
the clear outsole will be darkened, and eventually yellowing
Hey Nightwing, it’s Irving not Erving, just so you know
I don´t wanna live on this planet anymore
Hey nightwing is there going to be a 2014 perfomance list like you did last year;
Since its a translucent sole, will the traction still be pliable? Also the traction has a lot of deep grooves so will it work on a dusty floor?
Spelling Nazis are in full-force today haha the brown kinda puts me off on these from an aesthetic standpoint
I reckon he might deserve a signature shoe soon hehe
Hey night wing how about Hyperdunk 2013 for Paul George?
Hey nightwing, Sneaker news.com also said that there was gonna be 2 other kyrie Irving color ways of the hyperdunk 2013. Do you think that is true?
I fell for these. I hated and hated on the icy soles, but this is still the best HD ’13 colorway by far. The IDs that I designed can’t even touch these and the ID option is $50 USD more.
@nightwing2303 Do you know where else to find these other than House of hoops or is ther a house of hoops online? Thanks.
