According to Wired, Nike’s auto-lacing sneaker the HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available for purchase by appointment only on November 28. How one gets an appointment is still unknown at this time but we’re going to assume that it involves a lot of money or fame.
A price tag for the HyperAdapt 1.0 has yet to be announced but with all the new tech and novelty of the self lacing sneaker, you’d have to imagine that they’ll cost more than a pretty penny.
If you aren’t familiar with the HyperAdapt 1.0, check out this four minute video by Wired that features Tiffany Beers, Senior Innovator at Nike, and Tinker Hatfield, who explain what the HyperAdapt 1.0 is all about and why it’s more than just a gimmick.

I dig these to be honest.
As with all new TECH, im expecting it to be EXPENSIVE….maybe around the 300-400 range perhaps, OR MORE!!
Goodluck to Nike, since the lacing system is not all one needs in a shoe.
Interesting, and the shoe looks nice too. I bet they’ll be expensive and be sucked up by resellers, though.
