Nike has unveiled their 2015 Nike Basketball Easter Collection.
Their four signature athlete’s models are all included this time, unlike this years Elite Series, and if you wanted to know the inspiration behind the colorways then you’ve come to the right place. Somehow the Kyrie outshines all of them… at least to me. They’re the only one that looks good, and they just happen to be the cheapest option too.
The 2015 Nike Basketball Easter Collection featuring the Kobe X, KD 7, Kyrie 1 and LeBron 12 will be available nike.com and select retail locations on Apr. 2. The collection will also features matching T-shirts, hats and socks connected to each of the four shoes.
KD7 EASTER
The liquid lime, vapor green and sunset glow colors found in the KD7 Easter features a micro camo representing modern street art. Set off with jet-black details on the Swoosh and strap, the shoe is fit for the spring season.
LEBRON 12 EASTER
A subtle floral print on the pastel sunset glow-colored upper fuses with black on the LEBRON 12 Easter. The floral pattern mixed with pastel hues is a nod to James’s fashion adeptness of seamlessly mixing prints and colors.
KYRIE 1 EASTER
Kyrie Irving combines his new-age speed with the old-school flair to his game. Purple, a classic Easter color, is featured on the KYRIE 1 Easter upper, letting the design language of Irving’s first shoe do most of the talking.
KOBE X EASTER
Featured in a unique hot lava and artisian teal color palette, the KOBE X Easter pulls inspiration from the shade of a robin’s egg and maintains the sophisticated simplicity of Bryant’s 10th shoe.
Some of the worst Easter colorways imo.
totally agree.
Same. These are turrible.
….so apparently robin egg colors relate to the Kobe 10.
well, you learn something every day right?
