It was only a matter of time before an Air VaporMax Leather build arrived…
Nike has been doing a lot of experimenting atop its VaporMax Air sole. From sneakerboots to Air Max hybrids, the tooling has received all kinds of interesting looks.
Now, Nike has ditched the lightweight Flyknit for an entirely perforated leather upper. The tongue borrows Air Max details, and the eyestays are debossed for a luxurious look. The inner lining is also leather, and this build gets much more subtle Nike branding at the heels.
There is no official word yet on when this Air VaporMax Leather sneaker is coming, but we’ll keep you updated. Would you pick it up at retail? Let us know.
