Bo knows a lot of things, at least according to the classic commercials back in the late ’80s. At the same time, Nike knows a lot about nostalgia, and have dug up the inspiration behind the colorway of this Air Trainer 3. The commercial below (which is ironically for the Air Trainer SC) features Bo Jackson playing outlandish sports including horse racing (about 46 seconds into the video.) The ‘Floridian‘ like colorway on the shoe is based on the pink and pastel orange jockey outfit Bo wore in the ad. Wolf grey makes up the majority of the upper, and the black on the midsole is accented by grey speckles.
