Last year marked 20 years since the original release of the Air Max 97. Now, 2018 will be the year of the Air Max 98.
Back in it’s original ‘Tour Yellow’ colorway, the Air Max 98 is a fan-favorite model from Nike’s Air Max line. It’s a brash ’90s shoe with all kinds of wild leather overlays, as much Nike branding as possible, and vibrant color.
Like the Air Max 97 — which many, including Nightwing2303, say is very stiff — the Air Max 98 features full-length Air Max cushioning.
The Air Max 98 ‘Tour Yellow’ retails for $160 (the same price as the base Air Max 97 model) and releases on January 26 via Nike SNKRS. Hardcore Air Max fans can expect the ‘Gundam’ colorway to arrive on the same day.
