To celebrate Ken Griffey Jr.’s induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame this year Nike will honor and celebrate by releasing a special colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1. It’s officially called the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Inductkid’.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Inductkid’ features an all white upper which looks to be made of a synthetic leather. You have the traditional Nike Air Griffey Max 1 construction that includes an internal bootie, heel strap, bungie lacing system, and Nike Air units in the forefoot and heel. The entire shoe is coated in white with the exception of a few bronze hits along the Swoosh on the heel, the Swoosh on the pull tab at the tongue, and metallic silver on the outsole. More detailing to help celebrate the induction into the Hall of Fame include what can be seen printed on the insole: “24EVER”.
